Rules for sharing and voting
shopat.lol is a free global board for favourite products and shops. These rules keep the game fair: real links, clean content, unlimited free votes, and ranking that money cannot buy.

Ranking rules in detail
Sort order
Live listings sort by votes descending. If two picks share the same vote count, the one shared earlier ranks higher. That tie-break rewards first movers without inventing bonus points.
Live computation
Rank is never stored as a permanent field. Every board and Top view recomputes order from current votes. When votes change, position changes.
Moderation outcomes
Removed listings leave the live board and cannot hold #1. Pending listings stay invisible until approved when auto-approve is off.
Outbound link cleaning
shopat.lol does not charge users to share or vote, and it does not add affiliate networks. Links are cleaned on the way in and on the way out.
- AWIN, Amazon Associates, Skimlinks, CJ, Viglink, and similar wrappers are stripped.
- Share the merchant product or shop URL directly, not an affiliate redirect hop.
- Promo markers from ChatGPT and similar sources are kept when already on the link.
- No pay-to-rank, no featured slot purchase, no fake starter votes or visits.
- The ? beside visits explains the cleaning policy.

Moderation and trust
Moderators can approve pending shares or remove listings that break the rules. The goal is a usable public board, not a dumping ground. If something looks wrong, it can be removed without refund theatre because posting never cost money.
